Before I begin this post, I just want to say that I work at a Buffalo Wild Wings so I know how these establishments work. I went to this Buffalo Wild Wings over the weekend, as I was in Iowa City for homecoming. The wait to eat was about 15-20 minutes, which wasn't bad at all for a Saturday night. My four friends and I got sat in the bar at a high-top table. This is where everything just goes downhill. We waited 20 minutes to even be greeted by someone. Usually, you put beverage napkins down to let other workers know the table has been greeted. We didn't have any bev naps down & still NO ONE came over to greet us. Everyone just kept walking by. Tables next to us were getting drink refills but we were completely ignored. Finally, our waitress, Carli, came over to greet us. By this time, we were about ready to leave. She said that she was "just thrown onto our table", so she apologized for the wait. First off, you never say that to a customer. Strike #1. She began to take our orders, which took forever. She then read the food back to us, which was completely wrong. We had to correct her, & then off she went to get our drinks. She came back with 4 warm waters with NO ice & the one person who got a soda, did get ice, because she was paying for that. Strike #2. We got 2 appetizers, & only 1 came out. The manager (not sure of his name) brought out the 1 & I told him we were missing the fried pickles. He said he would go get them, which he did. Didn't ask if everything came out okay or anything; just set the appetizer down & walked off. The food then took about 20 more minutes. Everything came out okay for the most part. My friend got a wrap (which automatically comes with chips & salsa) and a side salad as well. The chips & salsa never came out, so she asked the manager for a side of chips & salsa, which was brought out to her. About 10 minutes later, an APPETIZER of chips & salsa came out. We did not order this. 3 of the 5 of us needed drink refills and no one offered to fill them for us so the cups were empty the majority of dinner. About 3/4 of the way into the meal, Carli came over to apologize for all of this. It was a little too late at this point for that. When it came time to get checks, they were all sorts of messed up. My friend got charged for an appetizer of chips & salsa when she indeed did not order that. I asked for a box 3 times and never got one. She also charged one of my friends for a drink & proceeded to ROLL her eyes at her when my friend mentioned it to her. Not one of the managers ever came to the table to see how everything was or offer drink refills. I was not impressed at all and will never go back there. If you want a pleasant dinner experience and friendly staff, do not come here.

Great wings with a variety of sauces. My personal favourite is the honey BBQ, served with ranch - just simply delicious!! It's a great place to go if you wanna hang out with buddies and catch a football game. And ladies, always a great place to find men. ;)

This is not an Asian restaraunt. You are not allowed to have poor customer service while serving delicious wings. For goodness sakes, this BWW is located in the MIDWEST so where is the midwest hospitality. We only wanted our drinks refilled once! Other than the wings I don't know why I'd come back. Maybe I'll have to with a bowl of rice so the lack of customer service is acceptable.

Well........... i've been to more than a few BW3's and in large part the places were clean and service above average if not excellent.. NOT this one. we (2 people) sat at the bar at around 8:30pm on a friday night. it was not terribly busy. Should have been my first clue!! bar had 2 other customers only and the seating area was not close to full. first thing we noticed was the stacks of dirty glasses right in front of us. nice. grabbed a couple of menus..............holy frickin sticky!!!!!!!!!! you got to be kidding!!! once we finally ordered i started to look around a bit and noticed the waitress station to are left. as i was gazing there was a waitress trying to reach around and over PILES of dirty glasses to get to her computer to place and order. i nudged my buddy and we both started laughing out loud at what a joke this place was. the manager finally showed up to do some dishes since the bartender apparently wasn't able or willing. atleast the food was good and the beer was cold ADVICE: stick to the BW3's in Coralvile next to Biolife. that one is always clean, excellent service and friendly staff. i would review it but its not on yelp yet

The wings taste ok, but not good enough. But I like the variety of the spicy, they have about 10 levels of spicy. Everyone can find the one suits for him or her.

Do you like hot wings? Do you like REALLY hot wings? If you like your wings HOT, then you will love BWW's Blazin' sauce. I like HOT, but this took me by surprise! To be on the safe side the first time you try Blazin', keep it on the side, try in moderation and have a large fresh drink on hand. Like to go there often? Then sign up for their Buffalo Circle club to get e-mail updates on new promotions, special events at Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants, menu updates, and other hot news from Buffalo Wild Wings. Their menu is on their web site too... And I've seen that a new one just opened in Coralville, right across from the Wal-Mart.

I'd like to eat tradition wings with Asian zing sauce. The beef hamburg with french fries is also good. My friend said the salad is delicious.

Mediocre food, and for the amount you pay its pretty absurd. The service is pretty good, but the boneless wings are crunchy and not as good as the other Buffalo Wild Wings I have been too. I would probably give this restaurant 2.5 stars, but I'll round up.

The boneless wings are never actually covered. Like ever. Sometimes their buffalo wings with bones have weird color meat which leads me to believe they don't keep them cold enough. And to be perfectly frank this place is the slowest and most inefficient chain restaurant in town. It takes way too long to get food and they are always understaffed. Go to any other place for wings. Donnellys is great.

I do enjoy my wings and get wings from many different places around the country as I travel. A good old stand by that has consistently served good wings is BW3's. I enjoy their dry rubs and also the parmesan garlic wings.

Pretty good, depending on what you are looking for. Their food is good, lots of choices for those of us not into wings and the food is pretty reasonably priced. Quite a few beers to chose from as well. The space is LARGE, so if you are looking for cozy, this isn't the place. I like coming here to watch soccer, there are so many tvs that they can always find one to put on soccer. Overall pretty good place.

Buffalo Wild Wings is always 5 stars for me and been eating here since their early days. This location is downtown near some university of Iowa offices. It can be very busy with students throughout the day. The service is great here and food is always great.

If youre on a diet, this place is not the best place to go but its got a good atmosphere. I think they should have a better array of viewing broadcast and the Long Islands suck but other than that, its pretty dope.

My friend found a cockrocach in her food. That is really disgusting. What kindnof place is this? Makes me not wanna come & eat here at all. Really unprofessional. This place needs to be shut down.

The boneless wings are gross. Too much breading, and the chicken wasn't very good. Their honey mustard dressing is horrible (i'm a fan of outback's honey mustard, for a comparison)...i had to throw the salad away and now the thought of honey mustard dressing makes me want to vomit. I go there for their tuesday wings special. their honey bbq sauce is ok, but their sweet bbq sauce is pretty bad. Their medium buffalo sauce is ok. I've had their burgers and chicken sandwiches...overall, the food is ok, but be careful what you order.

This place did not offer good service and it was nothing like other BWWs I've eaten at. The host yelled at us for trying to sit at the bar, which is not typical at all as normal restaurants (the ones that care about return customers) do not prevent customers from sitting at the bar when there is plenty of room to sit there. I also noticed there were a lot of unhappy people waiting to be seated in the waiting area and even outside on the sidewalk - too bad they wouldn't sit anyone as half of the chairs in the restaurant were empty!

Usually don't write reviews for chains but this is worth it because they are they only one's offering free wi-fi after 11pm when the Java House and other close yearly when students are gone. Yes the wings are so so and don't compare to the Vine or some other local greats but it is what is Had a couple beers and did some work. Also good place to bring your lap top and obsessively check on your fantasy scores like I will be doing this Sunday! The also have Bass on draft!

The server was good. The place was empty and our food took about 25 minutes, only ordering a single order of medium wings. The booth was broken, the seat wasn't connected to the boards, and it kept falling out (my wallet fell behind the booth because of it) and moving anytime my boyfriend would move around.
